Experts say curb pupil junk food
Experts want to see an end to junk food being served in Welsh schools
Junk food should be restricted on Welsh school menus and millions spent on improving eating habits, say experts appointed by the assembly government.
Their report has recommended a radical overhaul of food in schools in Wales, in a shake-up which could cost £38m.
They recommend two helpings of fruit and vegetables in meals and a ban on chocolate, crisps and fizzy drinks in school tuck shops and vending machines.
