Throw away the food and eat the packet
After being alerted to the idiocy of a supermarket shrink wrapping coconuts, Lucy Siegle in the Observer challenged four families to collect a month's worth of packaging. Packaging in casa Spinneyhead is kept down by our insistence on buying food from local butchers and grocers when we can and the Northern Harvest vegetable boxes we occasionally order.via Treehugger
