Food Festival Specials: Linking for food
Just a few links relevant to the Manchester Food and Drink Festival.North West Fine Foods does a Greater Manchester food trail, but as their site doesn't seem to lead anywhere at the moment, I think I'll link to a few of the places on it-
Barbakan Delicatessen, fine breads baked in Chorlton.
The Chadwick Family Emporium of Fine Food, which might be worth taking a trip out to Wigan to check out.
The Gift of Oil, fine olive oil and balsamic vinegar bottled in the north West.
Love Saves The Day has moved from Tib Street and now has outlets on Oldham Street and Deansgate.
Millstone Brewery, real ale brewing in Mossley.
The Raw Juice Company, all sorts of freshly squeezed fruit juices.
Redhouse Farm & Tea Rooms, long running farm shop, with a Maize Maze opened every year.
Slattery's Patissier and Chocolatier. I can't look at this site for too long, I'll get hungry.
Titterton's Butchers, situated in the centre of Stockport.
Unicorn Grocery, providing fresh and organic veg in Chorlton.
Uncle Joe's Emporium, traditional sweets.
Northern Harvest, Casa Spinneyhead's home delivery service of choice.
And, from further afield, R S Ireland black puddings and, if this week isn't enough, the Food Lovers' Festival at Tatton Park at the end of the month.
