Going Underground
The Guardian profiles the growing British love for Subway sandwich stores. I've eaten from Subway precisely once. It was nice, but I don't have any urge to go back soon. Whilst it's nice to see McDonalds suffering and being replaced by a (probably) more healthy option, it's still another fast food chain taking over the high street. The article considers this and Subway's very dodgy franchising scheme, which I first learnt about when I read Fast Food Nation.Technorati tag: Fast Food, Subway
