Green, green grass
Grass is packed full of nutrients. After all, as the author says, how else could cows and horses grow so large and strong. Of course, our digestive system is vastly different to that of a bovine, so grass- specifically wheatgrass- needs a bit of prepping before it's fit for human consumption. But when it is prepared, fresh of course, it's great for flushing out toxins from the blood and stomach. Possibly too great, early in a grass regime you're likely to feel ill as your body has to deal with the rubbish released from storage by the chlorophyll. If you persevere, however, you'll soon find yourself purer and happier.Anyway, I'm setting aside a tray in the window box for some wheat grass.
